In Berlin, Germany, Copernicus Berlin held a one-day interactive event to expand the outcomes of the "Gender-Driven Sustainability" project. The workshop focused on giving youth practical tools for organizing inclusive environmental projects. Inclusion Starts with Awareness Participants reflected on the gender gap in environmental movements and how language, habits, and leadership styles can either include or exclude. The day emphasized intersectionality and practical action. Workshop Goals
  • Offer tools for inclusive climate communication.
  • Explore structural barriers in environmental activism.
  • Empower youth to initiate local eco-projects through a gender lens.

  • Climate Role Lab – A simulation where youth analyzed gender roles in fictional eco-organizations.
