Held in Esch-sur-Alzette, the workshop invited foreign and local students to connect gender justice with climate resilience. The event, led by the Foreign Students of Luxembourg association, reflected the multicultural landscape of Luxembourg and gave voice to often-overlooked perspectives in sustainability discussions.

Creating Inclusive Conversations Through group reflections and shared storytelling, participants examined the barriers that women, migrants, and minority groups face in participating in environmental action. The workshop highlighted the need to create sustainability strategies that include everyone’s voice. Workshop Goals
  • Amplify marginalized voices in environmental dialogue.
  • Build understanding of intersectional climate impacts.
  • Foster youth leadership through inclusive education.
Key Activities
  • Podcast Corner – Participants recorded short audio reflections on what sustainability means in their cultural contexts.
  • Photo Wall – A shared collage of images representing both environmental concern and personal identity.
  • Roundtable – Students discussed what inclusive climate leadership should look like in Luxembourg.
Participant Reflections
"Being part of a group that shares the same hope for a better world, even with different experiences, gave me motivation to act."
Outputs and Legacy The group plans to host a podcast series based on the recordings and create a campus-wide exhibition on gender and environment later in the year.
