ACT O’CLOCK Empowers Youth Workers Through Memory in Bucharest

Content

Asociatia ACT O’CLOCK in Bucharest welcomed youth workers for a project called “Remembering to Resist,” part of the Constructing the Present initiative. The goal was to help youth workers use stories from Europe’s past to teach values like human rights, freedom, and democracy.

The participants took part in team activities, shared historical events from their countries, and explored how the past still connects to today’s social and political issues. They also created creative presentations to raise awareness about democratic participation and youth involvement.

The workshop encouraged reflection, learning, and action—helping youth workers become better educators and defenders of democratic values.
