In Vilnius, Asociacija Tavo Europa hosted a special workshop titled “Past Voices, Present Choices,” where youth workers came together to explore how Europe’s history still shapes today’s values. The event focused on understanding life under dictatorship and learning how to promote freedom, human rights, and peace in today’s society.
Through games, roleplays, and group discussions, participants talked about political propaganda, resistance movements, and how democratic values can help young people build stronger communities. They also shared personal and historical stories from their countries, creating a space of respect and mutual learning.
The training gave youth workers a better understanding of how to help young people stay aware, open-minded, and engaged in democratic life.
