Rhythm for the Planet: Dance and Dialogue in Cluj-Napoca

After completing the Erasmus+ training course in Bulgaria, Green Hope hosted a workshop combining movement and climate awareness. Youth workers and participants gathered in Cluj-Napoca to reflect on how dance can be a tool for change, focusing on the intersection of culture and sustainability.

Workshop Goals

  • Promote eco-consciousness through physical movement.

  • Encourage youth leadership in cultural and environmental projects.

  • Reflect on dance as a tool for intercultural understanding.

  • “Eco-Rhythm Jam” with traditional Romanian steps blended with freestyle.

  • Climate storytelling using dance gestures.

  • Brainstorming ideas for local eco-dance campaigns.

Outputs
Participants designed a choreographed flashmob titled "Protect What Moves You", which will be performed during an upcoming climate action event in Cluj.
