Workshop in Curaçao on Youth Leadership and Cultural Pride

In Willemstad, Stichting F.E.L.I.S. Curaçao hosted a youth celebration and strategy session centered on island leadership and resilience.

We Are the Shoreline Local youth leaders facilitated sessions on traditions, land connection, and their role in defending island sustainability. Workshop Goals

• Celebrate youth-led environmental leadership.
• Pass on traditional coastal knowledge.
• Strengthen global-local alliances.

Key Activities

• Elder Circle – Stories from community leaders.
• Resilience Rhythms – Youth wrote and performed eco-poetry.
• Island Action Forum – Youth created a vision board for Curaçao 2030.
