May 22-30, 2024
From May 23 to May 31, 2024, in Benalmádena, Spain, the Erasmus+ training course “Empowering Voices: Digital Inclusion and EU Values in Youth Engagement” successfully equipped youth workers with essential competencies to combat digital exclusion. The program emphasized the importance of fostering European values such as inclusiveness, tolerance, and solidarity in an increasingly digital world. Participants learned how to empower marginalized youth by helping them access and engage safely in digital spaces.
Throughout the course, youth workers enhanced their digital literacy and developed strategies for creating inclusive content tailored to underrepresented groups. They explored the intersection of EU values and digital ethics, addressing crucial topics like online safety and responsible digital citizenship. The training also focused on effective social media use to engage marginalized youth, culminating in collaborative digital projects that encouraged young people to express their creativity and advocate for policies supporting their inclusion in democratic life.
