Digital Empowerment and Human Rights: Fostering Inclusive Communities through Technology
Erasmus+ Training Course in Budapest, Hungary

From April 4 to April 11, 2024, Budapest, Hungary, hosted an Erasmus+ training course organized by Copernicus Berlin, which focused on the intersection of technology, human rights, and inclusion. The course empowered youth workers to integrate digital tools into their advocacy efforts, emphasizing the importance of digital literacy and raising awareness of digital rights as fundamental human rights. Through practical workshops and intercultural dialogue, participants developed the skills necessary to create inclusive digital environments and advocate for human rights.
The program aimed to enhance youth workers’ digital competences, equipping them with knowledge and tools to promote human rights and ethical digital advocacy. Participants improved their digital skills, increased their understanding of human rights in the digital context, and learned how to foster inclusivity in digital spaces. They also built an international network dedicated to promoting digital inclusion and collaborated on designing their own advocacy projects.
