Project Description

The Transforming Archives into Education (TAE) training course aims to empower educators, researchers, and archivists with the skills to effectively use archival materials — including printed documents, photographs, and videos — as practical tools for learning.

By promoting an interactive approach, the course supports participants in transforming historical records into engaging educational content that fosters critical thinking and deeper historical understanding.

Objectives of the Project
  • Strengthen formal and non-formal education programs by enhancing the use of archival and historical materials, giving young people tools to understand, preserve, and critically engage with the past.
  • Enable participants to understand the role of archives as educational resources and tools for social change.
  • Support the development of archival literacy through the analysis of historical narratives, cultural production, and various media formats.
  • Engage participants in hands-on exploration of archival materials to improve research and teaching methods.
