On June 20, 2026, a workshop titled "AI for Youth Work: Practical Tools, Ethics and Inclusion" was held in Armenia. The training targeted both experienced youth workers and newcomers who are socially active volunteers within their communities.
Led by a team of five facilitators, the workshop engaged over 10 participants in exploring the application of artificial intelligence in youth work. Attendees discovered practical AI tools, examined ethical considerations, and emphasized the importance of inclusion when utilizing technology.
Participants actively contributed to discussions, sharing their experiences and brainstorming innovative ways to integrate generative AI into non-formal learning design. They proposed creative solutions to address algorithmic bias and offered specific strategies to involve young people with fewer opportunities through digital tools.
The facilitators also gained valuable insights and experience from organizing and conducting the workshop. The event was well received, inspiring plans for future sessions.
