On 12 April 2026, Gabriela organized a dissemination workshop in Berlin as part of her participation in an Erasmus+ project. The workshop highlighted her experiences from the Erasmus+ training course “Digital Storytelling & Media Literacy for Youth Engagement,” held in Rome and organized by Copernicus Berlin.
Gabriela presented key topics from the training, including media literacy, the role of free media, and strategies to recognize and avoid misinformation. She also shared insights on crossmedia storytelling, demonstrating how stories can be adapted across various platforms and formats such as short videos, longer content, and visual storytelling.
Practical techniques were showcased, emphasizing the use of strong visual hooks to capture attention and the importance of branding in content creation. Gabriela supported her presentation with photos, videos, and a PowerPoint illustrating the project activities and learning outcomes. She highlighted competencies developed during the training, such as digital skills (including video editing with CapCut), intercultural communication, and teamwork in an international context.
The workshop fostered active discussion among participants, who exchanged ideas on expanding dissemination activities and promoting media literacy to better combat misinformation. Suggestions included forming a student group to share Erasmus+ opportunities. The session was attended by Gabriela and several international participants, creating a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
