In the vibrant coastal city of Catania, Italy, youth workers from across Europe gathered for a dynamic follow-up training titled “Digital Creativity for Youth Empowerment,” hosted by Copernicus Berlin e.V.. This initiative, held just weeks after the original project in Spain, built upon the success of the "Digital Tools to Spark Creativity" program and took digital competence training to new heights. The workshop aimed to strengthen youth workers’ ability to guide young people through an increasingly digital labor landscape. Participants engaged in hands-on activities focused on graphic design, ICT tools, and visual content creation. These sessions sparked collaborative learning while enhancing employability and inclusion through creativity. Core discussions revolved around fostering critical soft skills like teamwork and problem-solving, exploring digital youth culture, and embracing non-formal education techniques. Through energizers, peer-led workshops, and intercultural exchanges, participants shared best practices and explored fresh approaches to youth work in a digital age. The event concluded with participants expressing renewed confidence in their capacity to empower young people through innovative digital methods. The momentum continues as these youth workers return to their communities, equipped with practical tools and creative inspiration to support digital inclusion and career readiness.
