The workshop was a dynamic and creative songwriting session inspired by the Erasmus+ project Music for Human Rights and Inclusion. Participants engaged in activities designed to explore music as a powerful tool for connection, expression, and social inclusion.
The event began with an energizing speed-dating exercise that helped attendees learn each other's names through musical interaction. Following a presentation about the Erasmus+ project experience in Varna, Bulgaria, participants divided into three groups—Rap, Pop, and Country—to collaboratively create original lyrics set to familiar melodies such as "Take On Me" and "Country Roads." Each group crafted verses and choruses centered on themes of friendship, diversity, and shared experiences.
The final performances were lively, personal, and filled with laughter, successfully blending creativity with the core values of the Erasmus+ initiative. This workshop demonstrated how music can foster inclusion and dialogue while empowering youth to express important social themes through artistic collaboration.
