Purpose Projects: Social Business for Youth Empowerment in Cluj-Napoca & Constanța

Content

The dissemination took place in two Romanian cities: Cluj-Napoca and Constanța. The event in Cluj-Napoca welcomed 7 participants, while the second in Constanța engaged 4 more. Both dynamic workshops were designed to equip youth workers with the skills, tools, and mindset needed to promote social innovation in their communities—building on the training held in Yerevan, Armenia.

Workshop Goals

  • Explore income-generating ideas with social value.

  • Support youth-led entrepreneurship tailored to local realities.

  • Build confidence in project design and pitching.

Key Activities
Participants explored strategies for launching sustainable initiatives addressing challenges such as education inequality and digital exclusion. A “canvas mapping” exercise helped localize ideas, and our own project model developed in Armenia was presented and adapted to both regions' needs.

Participant Reflections

“This helped me see entrepreneurship as something for everyone—not just tech founders.”
“We want to bring these ideas to our cities—and involve other young people too.”

Outputs and Legacy
A social tutoring initiative was proposed for Constanța, while the Cluj group plans to test a youth-led environmental service. Participants showed strong motivation to stay involved in Erasmus+ projects and promote youth work in their regions.
