On November 19, 2024, the Civil Forum Georgia organized a follow-up workshop in Tbilisi, Georgia, following the Erasmus+ training course Empowering Youth Work in Entrepreneurship and Environmental Sustainability, held in October in Hurghada, Egypt. The event brought together youth workers, students, and local community leaders to explore the intersection between entrepreneurship, innovation, and environmental sustainability.

The session opened with a presentation about the Erasmus+ programme and its role in supporting youth-led projects that promote eco-friendly and socially responsible business practices. Facilitators from Civil Forum Georgia shared key lessons learned during the training, focusing on how entrepreneurship can drive meaningful change in local communities when guided by sustainable principles.

Participants took part in interactive activities such as green business idea development, team challenges, and case studies on local sustainability initiatives. They discussed strategies to address environmental issues in Georgia — including waste reduction, renewable energy use, and sustainable agriculture — through creative business solutions. The workshop also emphasized financial literacy and ethical entrepreneurship, helping participants design realistic, impactful project plans.

The event concluded with an open networking session, where participants exchanged ideas and formed partnerships for future Erasmus+ projects. The atmosphere was vibrant and collaborative, encouraging young people to continue building on their skills and turning innovative ideas into actionable community initiatives.

The Tbilisi workshop successfully carried forward the vision of the Erasmus+ Empowering Youth Work in Entrepreneurship and Environmental Sustainability project — demonstrating that with the right skills, creativity, and awareness, young people can become the driving force for a greener and more sustainable future in Georgia.
