Music for Human Rights and Inclusion
Erasmus+ Training Course in Golden Sands (Varna), Bulgaria
July 2-9, 2025
The program focused on empowering youth workers to harness the power of music as a universal language for promoting human rights, social inclusion, and cross-cultural dialogue. It encouraged participants to explore how creative expression can break down barriers, strengthen empathy, and bring communities together through shared artistic experiences.
Throughout the week, participants engaged in hands-on workshops that blended musical creativity with social education. They practiced songwriting, rhythm-based activities, and collaborative performances designed to inspire understanding and acceptance among young people. The sessions also emphasized integrating values of equality, diversity, and non-discrimination into every creative process.
The training culminated in a public performance on the Golden Sands promenade, where participants showcased the unifying potential of music. Reflective discussions that followed helped them evaluate their impact and develop ideas for future projects that use art as a tool for empowerment and inclusion.
