Countering Cyber-Aggression

Countering Cyber-Aggression

Erasmus+ Training Course in Berlin, Germany

January 31 - February 8, 2023

From February 1 to February 9, 2023, Berlin, Germany hosted the project “Countering Cyber-Aggression,” which focused on equipping youth workers with crucial skills to tackle the rising threats of cyberbullying, cyberhate, and online harassment. The initiative aimed to empower these professionals to understand, prevent, and respond effectively to various forms of cyber-aggression while fostering media literacy and responsible digital behavior among young people.

The program successfully enhanced youth workers' abilities to recognize and address cyber-aggression in all its forms. Participants deepened their knowledge of the issue and gained practical tools for prevention and intervention. Through interactive non-formal education methods, they learned to promote social media literacy and raise awareness about the importance of creating safe digital environments where young people can thrive without fear of harassment or discrimination.
