Empowering Youth Workers for LGBT Rights and Inclusion
Erasmus+ Training Course in Benalmádena, Spain
November 12-19, 2024
The program aimed to strengthen youth workers’ capacity to promote equality, inclusion, and respect for human rights in their daily work with young people. It provided participants with practical knowledge and tools to address the challenges faced by LGBT youth and to foster safer, more supportive community environments.
Through interactive workshops and real-life case studies, participants deepened their understanding of inclusion and diversity while developing strategies to support young people from various backgrounds. They explored how to integrate inclusive approaches into their youth work practices and create spaces where every individual feels valued and respected.
The experience encouraged collaboration and knowledge-sharing among participants, inspiring them to become advocates for equality and positive change in their communities through empathy, awareness, and inclusive action.
