ICT4Rights: Digital Advocacy and Inclusion for All
Erasmus+ Training Course in Benalmádena, Spain
May 5-12, 2025
The program focused on empowering youth workers to harness technology as a tool for inclusion, participation, and human rights advocacy. It highlighted the growing importance of digital access and literacy as key elements of social justice, emphasizing that everyone should have the opportunity to benefit from technological progress. Participants examined how unequal access to technology can reinforce social divides and explored methods to make the digital world more equitable and inclusive.
Through interactive discussions and practical workshops, participants deepened their understanding of the connection between ICT and human rights. They learned to design awareness campaigns, develop community-based initiatives promoting digital inclusion, and advocate for responsible technology use that protects privacy and dignity.
By the end of the training, participants were equipped to serve as change-makers within their communities, using technology to advance equality and civic engagement. The program inspired them to view digital transformation not only as a technical evolution but as an opportunity to build fairer, more connected, and human-centered societies.
