Rural Youth for Green Employability
Training course in Tbilisi, Georgia
October 2-11, 2025
Project organized by Bridging Europe e.V.
In an era where climate change and economic inequality threatened rural communities, young people from marginalized backgrounds gathered for a transformative 10-day youth exchange. This event brought together 15 German and 15 Georgian participants in Tbilisi and rural regions of Georgia, focusing on hands-on environmental action and meaningful cultural collaboration. Participants developed practical green skills and cross-cultural understanding, positioning themselves as effective champions of sustainability and social inclusion in their communities.
Throughout the exchange, they mastered collaborative environmental action by engaging in renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and waste management projects. Workshops facilitated storytelling and cultural exchange, allowing participants to share regional environmental challenges and co-create innovative solutions. By fostering international green networks, they established lasting partnerships that would strengthen sustainable development and youth empowerment movements across borders.
