The Art of Dialogue as a Tool for Youth Workers
Erasmus+ Training Course in Yerevan, Armenia
March 24-28, 2025
The program focused on developing youth workers’ capacity to use dialogue as a powerful tool for understanding, connection, and peacebuilding. It encouraged participants to see communication not just as an exchange of words but as a means to build trust, empathy, and cooperation within divided or post-conflict communities.
Through interactive sessions combining storytelling, intercultural exchange, and group reflection, participants practiced facilitation methods that help young people express themselves openly and listen to others with respect. They explored how dialogue can transform tension into collaboration and inspire collective action toward positive social change.
By the end of the training, participants were equipped to create inclusive spaces where dialogue becomes a bridge between differing perspectives. The experience empowered them to design youth-led initiatives that promote reconciliation, mutual understanding, and long-term community harmony.
