Fostering Peace Through IT Solutions
Erasmus+ Training Course in Yerevan, Armenia
May 25 - June 1, 2025
The program focused on empowering youth workers to apply information technology as a tool for peacebuilding, dialogue, and social cohesion. It encouraged participants to explore how digital innovation can be harnessed to address conflict-related challenges, promote understanding, and strengthen connections among young people from diverse backgrounds.
Through interactive workshops and collaborative project labs, participants developed practical IT-based solutions, such as awareness campaigns, digital storytelling projects, and tools for countering hate speech. Expert-led sessions provided insight into how technology can support conflict transformation, while local visits demonstrated its real-world impact in community initiatives.
By the conclusion of the training, participants had enhanced their technical and strategic capacities to integrate IT into peace-focused youth work. Equipped with innovative methods and concrete action plans, they returned home ready to design and implement digital projects that foster dialogue, empathy, and long-term peace.
