Guiding Futures: Education-to-Career Pathways for Youth Workers
Erasmus+ Training Course in Yerevan, Armenia
September 1-10, 2025
Over the eight-day course in Yerevan, participants engaged in team-building activities and gained insights into Armenia’s education and labour landscape. They explored a career-guidance toolkit, including competency mapping and Holland Codes, through role-plays on digital platforms. Mid-week, attendees analyzed labour-market trends with local HR experts, visited the Armenian University, and crafted inclusive outreach strategies for NEETs, refugees, and young women in STEM. A dedicated day focused on entrepreneurship introduced lean-start-up canvassing and EU digital badges, culminating in the development of six-month action plans. The final day featured “pathfinder” pitches where participants presented education-to-career projects, received stakeholder feedback, and celebrated their achievements with Youthpass awards. Throughout the course, daily reflection circles ensured a learner-centered approach, resulting in practical toolkits for career guidance, detailed individual action plans, and refined outreach models for at-risk youth. By the end of the programme, participants had established partnerships poised for future Erasmus+ opportunities.
