Youth in Action: Fostering Peacebuilding, Conflict Resolution and Employability Skills

Erasmus+ Training Course in Yerevan, Armenia

September 15-23, 2023

From September 16 to September 24, 2023, Yerevan, Armenia hosted a nine-day Erasmus+ training course aimed at equipping youth workers with vital competences to tackle the socio-political and economic challenges faced by young people in Europe and its neighboring regions. The program emphasized three interconnected areas: peacebuilding and conflict resolution, employability and career development, and cross-cultural exchange. Participants engaged in practical skill-building activities that empowered them to promote peaceful societies, enhance young people's career readiness, and foster cultural understanding.

Throughout the course, participants exchanged experiences and strengthened their networks while developing innovative strategies to assist young people in navigating complex global realities. By focusing on peacebuilding, employability, and cross-cultural dialogue, the training effectively prepared youth workers to support the personal, social, and professional development of young individuals in their communities.
