Digital Youth Work for Social Inclusion
Erasmus+ Training Course in Budapest, Hungary
September 16-23, 2024
Participants took part in an intensive program aimed at enhancing digital competences among youth workers to bridge the digital divide and promote social inclusion for disadvantaged young people. They developed practical ICT skills essential for designing, implementing, and evaluating digital youth work initiatives, enabling them to better support young individuals with limited digital access or experience.
The program emphasized the importance of digital literacy as a pathway to new opportunities in education, employment, and civic participation. By engaging in interactive workshops and collaborative learning, participants explored innovative digital tools and methods to strengthen their professional capacities.
As a result, the training fostered a deeper understanding of how technology can be used as a force for inclusion, empowering youth workers to create more accessible, equitable, and connected communities for marginalized young people.
